Sample Knitting

I’m still in the middle of sample knitting, along with Tesia and Allison, although Trisha has finished hers already (I would say “lucky her!”, but I know she worked hard to get them finished so quickly)!  I finished my Toasty at last week’s knit night after a friend confirmed that it did indeed fit someone of the size it was meant to fit, leaving Adorable as my last sample knitting that needs doing.  Part of it was finished this past weekend and now I’m partway through the remaining bits.

Interestingly, though, I’m finding it a bit challenging to knit my own samples.  I keep thinking I know the pattern well enough not to check it, only to find out a bit later that I missed a crucial step. Oops.  Picking up wraps with their stitch is overrated, right?  I am absolutely loving the yarn and colors I am working with, though. I can’t wait to share :)
