Endless Garter Stitch

August 9, 2010
by

I have recently had a pattern  proposal accepted for submission to the KnitpicksIndependent Designer Partnership Program. While this is terribly exciting, it also means that I’m in a bit of a hurry to finish knitting a sample and send it off for final review and approval, and so I’ve spent the last 4 days knitting garter stitch almost exclusively.

The way the pattern is constructed require that I knit four nearly identical pieces and seam them together. I’m nearly finished the second piece. Wish me luck in finishing the remaining two pieces soon!

PS. Thanks for the feedback on the Tulip Baby Cardigan. I’ll go ahead and block it as-is, then decide who the lucky recipient will be! I was able to try it on my friend’s 6-month-old son this weekend and it’s a perfect fit, so now I just have to find the right baby…
